IT Auditor

Location: Texas, Florida, and New York

Our client is seeking an IT Auditor to identify meaningful issues in which controls are not properly designed or are not operating effectively. The successful candidate will assess the risk and control environment for processes within coverage areas. Responsible for validating the completion of agreed action plans under the guidance of a supervisor.

  • Understands the financial services industry and risk and control environment for coverage areas and identifies new risks.

  • Works closely with auditees to verify timely progress and completion of agreed action plans.

  • Audit Execution

  • Assists a Senior IT Auditor or IT Audit Manager with the execution of audit planning, fieldwork and reporting.

  • Completes risk-focused fieldwork on time and within the allocated budget, notifying the auditor in charge promptly of issues that arise or when budgets or timelines are at risk.

  • Understands and performs root cause analysis for issues; possesses and demonstrates a strong understanding of audit techniques.

Quality Process

  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of our policies & procedures, particularly work paper documentation standards.

  • Independently prepares work papers that fully comply with IAD policies and procedures. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a technology-related major. Certifications related to the candidate’s coverage responsibilities are beneficial, but not required, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

  • Previous job experience for IT Auditors can vary to meet the department’s goal of having a team with diverse perspectives and work experiences.

  • Capable of identifying, assessing and advising on risks for large-scale technology projects, IT general controls and completing IT process audits (e.g., SDLC, Change Management, Logical Security, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery and Incident/Problem Monitoring).

  • Proficiency in auditing infrastructure components is a plus (e.g., Mainframe, Unix/Linux, Windows).

Our client is currently interviewing qualified candidates for the role of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Software Engineer.  This role will be located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The successful engineer will need experience in SW design, digital communications, modems, and FPGA design.

Our client is currently seeking experienced candidates for a full-time role of Radar Systems Engineer to join a specialized division that specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies. 

Essential Functions:

  • Development of Common Open Architecture Radar Program Specification (COARPS), LRUs and/or OARS Radar modes as an Enterprise Consortium Member or COARPS Provider

  • Open Systems Architecture or Sensor Systems Consortium technical contributor (e.g. OAM, SOSA)

  • Working knowledge with Open Interface and Non-Proprietary Standards (e.g. VITA 49.2, OMS)

  • Radar system synthesis and conceptualization in a design-to-cost environment

  • Radar performance prediction in benign, cluttered and EA environment

  • Radar requirements definition, flow down and traceability to include CDRL management

  • Radar system trade studies such as waveform, frequency, antenna configuration, phase noise, etc.

  • Prescribe the integration and test steps necessary to bring up and verify radar performance, to include detailed test planning and writing test software requirements

  • Customer and sub-contractor interface

  • May direct activities of integrated product team

  • Generate proposals and white papers to generate new business

  • Active DoD clearance with current 5 year update; must be able to obtain additional clearances as required

Our national client is seeking an algorithm and signal processing subject matter expert who can lead an established team of modeling & simulation engineers in how to do algorithm development and signal processing implementation.  This leader will work with and provide leadership over the modeling & simulation engineers who are looking to grow and expand their capabilities and be part of a best in class organization where additional capabilities are engineered and implemented in-house.  The right leader and SME will be able to build an innovative engineering department of algorithm engineers with a clear vision and strategy that ties into the goals and strategy of the overall engineering organization. This position is responsible for leading the technical growth of an already extremely capable team, enhancing the organization’s agility by introducing emerging development and design methodologies, while encouraging and empowering key leaders within the team.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a highly functioning Algorithm Engineering team (60%) while contributing technically to multiple advanced programs (40%)

  • Introduce modeling, simulation and algorithm knowledge and creativity as well as possess the discipline to drive results via established fundamental processes

  • Owner and champion of the applied development methodologies and processes including prototyping, design, model development, simulation, test, performance modeling/Monte Carlos, hardware integration and verification.

  • Mentor and coach the team to develop their potential, resulting in a high performing team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years of modeling, simulation, and algorithm knowledge, and/or minimum of 12 years of autonomous flight control system of complex radar system development.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a technical team

  • Experienced in modeling/simulation architectures and comfortable building relevant toolsets.

  • Experience in radar signal processing algorithm and/or autonomous flight control systems (Guidance Navigation & Control).

  • Experience with implementation of CMMI, ISO9001/AS9100 or similar

  • Experience deploying solutions on real-time, embedded systems

  • Understanding of Agile or Evolutionary development methodologies (or similar)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Remote Cloud Security Engineers

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking qualified Remote Cloud Security Engineers to join our client’s team. We’re looking for someone with 7-10 years of information security work, with substantive experience working with cloud-based platforms.  We’re also willing to consider a candidate with substantive experience administering cloud-based platforms and a passion for the security discipline.  

Job Requirements:

•    Ability to apply a risk management lens to complicated technical issues and make recommendations about how to reduce risk.

•    Intellectual curiosity about cybersecurity issues. You read cyber and technical blogs and websites to stay current on industry trends and emerging risks.

•    Understanding of a broad range of security technologies and how they work.
