DoD Secret Clearance Required (or active within past 24 months) - Sr. Principal Systems Engineer provides requirements definition and design at the system, subsystem, and component level. The objective is to utilize our client’s current expertise to create combat solutions for naval and missile defense radar system design. Must have experience in the design combat system and platform architecture and integration; operational analysis and simulation modeling research and development; software-intensive system engineering; cyber solutions; and algorithm development for signal processing, tracking and discrimination systems.
Must have a minimum of 8 years professional radar system engineering experience to include knowledge of Electronic Attack (EA) / Electronic Protect (EP) techniques Knowledge of Digital RF Memory capabilities and counters Experience in successfully developing and documenting EP capabilities Ability to model and simulate EA/EP techniques in Matlab or similar tools.
Required Skills: 10+ years of experience in system/software engineering Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following radar systems (AN/TPY-2, SBX, Cobra Dane, UEWR) Familiarity with distributed computing systems and/or real-time computing/messaging systems. Knowledge of system/software development life cycles and agile development practices. Experience developing System Engineering artifacts such as architectural roadmaps Familiarity with UNIX, and/or Linux operating systems. This Department leads mechanical design, development and integration of platform systems. This includes shelter systems, hardware integration, cable & interconnections, as well as facility development & site integration. The department is comprised of individuals with technical expertise and experience in hardware design, integration and production support.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Own, manage, maintain Technical Baseline control for all contracts
